Title

Consider recommendations regarding Mental Health Services Overnight and Accountability Commission (MHSOAC) Children’s Triage Grant Funds, Fiscal Years (FYs) 2018-2022 and Mental Health Student Services Act Grant Award FYs 2020-2025 Amendments, as follows:

 

a) Approve, ratify and authorize the Director of Behavioral Wellness or designee to execute the second amendment to extend the term for the multi-year revenue agreement (No. 17MHSOAC066) with the MHSOAC for Mental Health Triage personnel and services (No. 17MHSOAC066) to extend the grant period through November 30, 2022, and to reallocate funds amongst grant years as necessary, with no increase to the awarded funds of $882,415.63;

 

b) Approve, ratify and authorize the Department of Behavioral Wellness to execute the first amendment to the multi-year grant agreement with the MHSOAC for mental health services for children and youth through school-based programs (No. 19MHSOAC082) to extend the grant period through September 30, 2025, and to reallocate funds amongst grant years as necessary, with no increase to the awarded funds of $4,000,000.00; and

 

c) Determine that the above actions are government fiscal activities or funding mechanisms which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment, and are therefore not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to section 15378(b)(4) of the CEQA guidelines.
