Title: Consider recommendations regarding an acceptance of Officer Wellness and Mental Health Grant, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required) a) Approve and authorize the Sheriff to accept the Officer Wellness and Mental Health Grant from the California Board of State and Community Corrections in an amount not to exceed $348,233.00 for a project period from July 1, 2022 to December 1, 2025; b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008795, appropriating $348,233.00 in Grant Revenue and corresponding expenses; and c) Find that the proposed action does not constitute a "project" pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) guidelines, Section 15738(b)(4), as it is the creation of a government funding mechanism or other government fiscal activity, which does not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant physical impact on the environment.
