Consider recommendations regarding Resilience Hub Grants, as follows: (4/5 Vote Required)

 

a) Approve and authorize the Community Services Director or designee(s) to execute grant agreements to accept grant funds in the amount of $25,000.00 from Pacific Gas and Electric and $200,000.00 from the California Resilience Challenge;

 

b) Approve Budget Revision Request No. 0008099 necessary to adjust appropriations for the receipt of unanticipated Grant Revenues in the amount of $225,000.00; and

 

c) Determine that the above recommended actions are not the approval of a project that is subject to review under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines sections 15378(b)(4), finding that the actions are the creation of government funding mechanisms or other government fiscal activities which do not involve any commitment to any specific project which may result in a potentially significant impact on the environment, and 15378(b)(5), finding that the actions are organizational or administrative activities of government that will not result in direct or indirect physical changes in the environment.
